November Favourites💗

Hey everyone hope your well:)

So its the end of November.... Really hard to believe!! Cant believe how fast this year is going. But Im so excited for Christmas. Its one of my favourite times of year🎄🎅

Today I decided Id do my November favourites, this is my first favourites post and Im quiet excited about it:)

Face:
✳I absolutely love L'Oréal True Match Foundation in tne shade C2. This just gives me an absolutely amazing coverage, without feeling cakey.

✳Catrice camouflage concealer 001 Ivory. This concealer covers just about everything.

✳L'Oréal Age Rewind. I use this to cover my dark circles and to highlight. It keeps under my eyes bright and it doesn't crease.

✳Loreal Glam Bronze. I love this product for contouring. Its a perfect bronze shade for my skin tone.

Eyes:
✳Mac Uninterrupted eyeshadow is the most gorgeous camel brown/orange! I use this as my transition shade in my crease. It warms up the look, and also brings out the blue in my eyes:)

✳Mua Heaven and Earth. This is probably my all time favourite eyeshadow pallette. I think it was around €5 or in or around, which is nothing. It has a great variety of shades, fro  light to dark, and matte to shimmer.

Skincare:
✳Clarins Moisture Replemishing Lip Balm. This is a must for me for this time of year. I suffer from dry lips so I try keep this on to keep the hydrated and soft.

✳Radox Eastern Spirit. I love the smell of this:) Theres something almost therapeutic about it!! Sometimes Ill pop some into the bath (whenever I get a chance to have one!!) and the scent fills the room as is like heaven!

✳Simple Gel Facial Wash. Ive tried alot of different face washes, but very few I like. This one is the best I've used. It doesn't irritate my skin, really cleans it, and helps keep my spots at bay:)

✳St Moriz Tan. Ive been using this tan the past few years and its a great one. Its around €4 in Penneys Which again is nothing! I find this gives me a very natural glow and doesnt make me orange! Also it gradually wears off so it doesnt look blotchy!

Hair:
✳S4U Dfinr. I recently cut off all my hair!! I just couldnt manage it long, so I said "to hell with it"!!! And I love it now! Its so much easier to manage and so hassle free. So since cutting it I like to use some wax just to keep it in place/ add texture. This S4U one is great. Its not sticky or tacky, its nice and smooth and easy to work with, and holds my hair in place all day!

✳L'Oréal Damage Care Mask. I use this mask when I feel  y hair needs a little TLC. This really deep conditions the hair leaving it silky smooth.

Brushes:
✳E25 Round Top Blending Brush. Best brush for applying colour in my crease, or blending shades on  my eyes!

✳F03 Large Duo Fibre Stippling Brush. Amazing for really working foundation into the skin. It gives an airbrushed appearance to the skin:)

I really hope you enjoyed this post, and I'll be back soon with another:)

Till then 💓 x

Makeup of the day💄

Hey guys! Welcome back:)

Just a quick makeup of the day for you! I dont often get up in time to go over the top on my makeup (sometimes Id rather the extra few minutes in bed!!!!) But today I had time so I said Id go all out:)

Here is an overview of the products!

Below is the shadow I used to fill in my brows. Its from an Avon pallette Ive had for ages, and its the perfect colour for my brows. I dont like my brows overly defined but I like to make it look like I have brows:)

For eyeshadow I used Mac Uninterupted blended into my crease as the transition shade. Then I used MUA pallette in "Heaven and Earth", using the dark browb to deepen my crease on the outer corner, and the shimmery champagne colour all over my lid:)

For foundation I used L'Oreal True Match in C2, I recently done a post in this! Its a great foundation, I cant rave sbout it enough!

I use Catrice Camoflauge concealer on 010 "Ivory". This covers everything possible, Id be lost without it at the moment as my skin is not being too kind to me:/
I used the Catrice concealer pallette and used the darker shade and blended it under my cheekbones to contour a little!

I set everything with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 "Transparent"!

Loving the Essence blush in 10 "Adorable". Its just a very soft pink. It gives just enough colour to the cheeks, not to overdone:)

I like to go over my contour with a powder bronzer as well, just to define more. I love this duo from L'Oreal Glam Bronze. Its a perfect bronzer shade ("102 Brunette Mahogany") for my skin tone. And it comes with a highlight.

And just a little Christmas lip;) This is a Catrice Jumbo Lip Crayon. I cant remember the exact shade, and its rubbed off now:( But this red is lovely, its not too in your face!

This is one of my favourite makeup looks for this time of year:)

I hope you enjoy!

Gel Nail Experience💅

Hey everyone.

Welcome back:) Hope youur all keeping well, and getting excited for the Chritmas season🎄
Doing another quick post today on my experience with Gel Nails!

If you follow me on Instagram you'll notice Ive posted 2 pic's of gel nails that Ive had done. I had never had gel nails before, so when I had a week off work I thought Id get a set and Id have a week to get used to before going back to work. I have typically weak nails, and I tend to go at them when I have Shellac, so I thought it wont kill me to try them.

The first set I got were pink with one glitter and a little swirl on 1(pic below). Pink is my FAVOURITE colour and I thought a bit of glitter would jazz them up!! A local women done them for me, and she was brilliant! She explained every step to me, like how she poped on the nail and the how and why she filed the nail extension to blend with my nail, shapes, the different colours and how to paints, and does the designs, which I loved:)
At first I found them a little awkward, specially when pulling up skinny jeans or something like that where I need get good grip!! But I soon got used to it.

When I went back to work I made sure I wore gloves as much as I could to keep the colour nice, which I had no problem doing:) At times I found them in the way when I was washing the hair so I knew Id have to go a little shorter next time.

I got 3 weeks out of them, I probably would have got another week but I wanted to treat myself!

So I went back and this time I got Christmas nails:) I got the most beautiful glittery red (like Dorothy's shoes in the Wizard od Oz)! A silver/multicoloured  glitter, and a white with red snowflakes(pic below). Im so in love with this set. Im slightly worried about destroying the white, but she told me to pop on a clear top coat when going to work and then remove after and they'll be perfect! I got her to go a little shorter and Im getting on better now!

So all in all I have really fallen for gel nails! There stopping me from going at my nails, and no more chipped nail polish after an hour!!!

Hope you liked this post!

Till next time :) x

Eyebrow Threading

Hey everyone, welcome back. Im back with a different kind of post today!

A women started working in the salon I work in 3 weeks ago doing eyebrow threading and tinting. I had never got threading done before, I usually wax them myself as I done a bit in college! But a few of the girls raved about the threading, and my sister swears by it, so I said Id give it a go!

Threading is a method of hair removal originally from India. Its done by using thin thread doubled and twisted, and then rolled over the skin to remove unwanted hairs. It pulls the hair straight from the follicle, and it gives more control over the shape of the brows. It would also be alot more gentle on the skin, as you wouldnt be pulling at it like you would with waxing.

Honestly I was slightly nervous to get it done, but I knew if I didnt Id be raging with myself!! And now I dont know what I was so nervous about. I found it quiet soothing! Its a funny sensation, hard to put into words! But you can feel all the hairs falling onto your face (hairs I never even knew were there!!) Its like a tingling, flicky feeling! I could feel the thread gliding across my skin and catching the hairs! I did feel it a little more when she done below my eyebrow but naturally the skin is alot thinner and more sensitive there. To do there she makes you pull up above your brow and pull down my closed eye, to keep the skin tight and that also helped stop it hurting.

I really found I got a much nicer shape to my brows after it. She got every little hair possible! And although I always liked waxing I think Ive been coverted!!

Honestly Id highly recommend you trying it out, alot of beauty salons offer it now and its alot more relaxing! Also I think its roughly around the same price as waxing, and wont give you sagging or drooping eyebrows in years to come!!

I inserted 2 pictures to show you what my brows look like after, and what threading looks like so you have an idea!

Hope you enjoyed this little post:)

L'Oréal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner

Hey everyone :)

Back again!! Hope your all keeping well and enjoying my posts. Really in the mood for blogging at the moment. Weather awful in Ireland so Ive plenty of time to blog!!

Just said Id do a quick post on the shampoo and conditioner I'm currently using.  L'Oréal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner. I spotted this on offer in my local chemist so I chanced picking it up to give it a go!  Its recommended for normal/dull hair, and although I've actually coarse frizzy hair, I thought there'd be no harm in trying.

Ita a great product to leave the hair incredibly shiny and soft. Although I could probably do with a stronger conditioner as my hair is a little dry at the moment but its still great. Once my hair is dry it's like silk. Theres a great fresh scent to it which also helps!!

I'd probably continue to use the shampoo but might buy a mask as I do need it! But Id recommend these if you have normal/dull lifeless hair.

Hope you liked this quick post.

L'Oréal True Match Foundation

Hey everyone, hope your keeping well:)

Back today to show you a product I fell for about 2  weeks ago.
L'Oréal True  Match Foundation! I heard so many great things about this  product , so when my foundation ran out I said Id give it a go! And I love it💗

I use the shade C2, they have a huge variety of shades, from cool, warm and neautral tones. This shade blends perfectly with my skin tone. The foundation is quite runny so you need be carefull when you pump it out. True Match offers really buildable coverage which is great if you only need light coverage during the day, and full at night. It doesnt leave your skin feeling cakey, its quite light weight.

Id highly recommend this foundation if your thinking of getting a new one. Its roughly €14.99, and worth every cent.

Ill be back with another post soon.

Till then <3 x
