First Impression Ps Love This Make-Up Brush Cleanser

Hey everyone, back today with a first impressions post.

I haven't done a first impressions post before, but after my first use of this product I really felt the need to.

This Ps Love This Make-up Brush Cleanser in only €2.50 from Penneys (which is nothing!) This product is amazing. I used it to spot clean my most used brushes last night and it wasn't until I cleaned my stippling brush that I realised how good it is.

This brush was covered in foundation, even when I deep clean it, it's stained. But now it looks like new. This picture doesn't give it justice, the bristles are spotless. The cleanser really lifts all the dirt out and makes the brushes like new! I spray a few sprays onto brush and clean tissue and swirled it till it was clean. The smell was slightly fragranced but not overpowering.

I really have to recommend this product, for that price you can't go wrong. I know I'll be going back to Penneys to get a few bottles:)

Hope you like this post.

Till next time:) x

Goodbye 2014, Hello 2015!

Hey everyone, welcome back.

Hope you all had a lovely new year, and are set for hopefully a great 2015!! 2014 wasn't a stand out year for me, the only real enjoyable things I done was started this blog (which Im delighted I did), and I went on my first little holiday with my boyfriend!!

So I really want to make 2015 a special one! With that said I want to do a New Years resolutions post today. I make resolutions most years but struggle to keep them, but this year Im going to try my best.

1. Lose weight, eat healthier, and become fitter.
This is a huge one for me. In the past year or 2 Ive gained alot of weight and although Im not overweight or necessarily  fat, I want to get control of this now and get fit, healthy and tone up!!

2. Try do at least 30 minutes of exercise 3-4 times a week.
I never get out and go for a walk/swim/run and I think my body could really benefit from it. I work indoors all day and travel to work so really I need to get out in the fresh air. And it wont do my fitness any harm!!

3. Blog more - 2/3 blogs a week if possible
Now that the Christmas rush is over in work Im hoping to blog alot more than I have been. Id like to get into a routine of posting a few times a week.

4. Save money.
This is something I have never done, and really its terrible! Im a divil for spending money on unnecessary things. But Im going to have to stop and try put something aside.

5. Keep room tidy.
Im actually not bad at this but I want to continue with it. Something I really love is getting into bed and looking around my room and seeing it clean, Im slightly OCD about cleaning!!

6. Try do makeup course/ practise a different look a night.
I really enjoy makeup and being honest if I could afford it Id rather do that than hairdressing, but with the recession its just not a good idea to leave a job to persue another, not at the moment anyway. But I really want to try do a few day makeup courses, and practise at home!

7. Invest in decent makeup.
I love makeup as I've said, and I really want to start investing, as its the career I really want. So Im going to try and invest in a few decent, high end products every now and then.

8. Get myself into routines - eg skincare, exercise, work, blogging.
I have to admit I've no routine for anything!! My work days change all the time, i dont necessarily have a set day off (which is really annoying!!). My skincare rountine does be all over the place because im lazy! Ha! And as Ive said I need a routine for blogging and exercise to keep me motivated!

9. Wear retainer more often.
I had braces when I was in school and since getting them off I've a retainer, which in recent months I've  forgotten about. So I now have to try get back in the habit of wearing them and keep my teeth straight:)

9. Start a new sport
I played loads of sports when I was younger, and up until a few months ago I was playing soccer. But that is just not my sport so I'm hoping to go back to comogie when the season starts again. It's a great irish sport which i really enjoy as its a physical team sport!

10. Be positive, happy, and push myself for what I really want.
I typically am a very negative person, I'll always find the bad in things. So I want to try and be more positive, not work myself up over silly things and just enjoy  life cause its short! I know thats a real cliche but its true.

I really hope I can stick to these resolutions! I'll keep you's posted though! I hope you enjoyed this post.

Till next time:) x

Real Techniques Brushes

Hey everyone, welcome back:)

I hope you all had a very happy Christmas. I've been a absent from blogging for the past couple of weeks (sorry), but work has been busy as this is our busiest time of year. I also haven't been trying many new products lately because of that.

But today I'm back:) I've a quick post on a new brush I've been using lately. I bought the Real Techniques core collection and I've fallen for the Buffing Brush.

This brush gives amazing finish to your foundation, it buffs the product in, giving an airbrushed appearance.  The hairs on the brush are super soft compared to some, making it a joy to work with!! The core collection was around €20, which is great for the quality your getting. You get 3 other brushes but this one just stood out to me, being honest I tried using my stippling brush and half way through application I had to change brush!!

anyway that's all for this post, ill keep it short and sweet:)

Hope you all have a great New Years, and I'll be back soon.

Till then xx

Hair Wax

Hey everyone, welcome back😊

Hope you've enjoying my last few posts. Another quick one today!

I mentioned a wax in my November favourites, and I just wanted to elaborate on it. I bought this wax 2 weeks ago and I love it. I never thought I'd cut my hair so I never minded the waxes in work, but now that Ive been brave and cut off all my hair I've been experimenting.😋

Its by the company Alfaparf, in its S4U range. This is an Italian hair company. They have their own colours and products exclusive to salons, but worth it.

This wax is lovely for adding texture, and holding it in place on a bad hair day!! Its not sticky, it has kind of a creamy thick consistently, but when warmed in your hands its easy to work with. It doesnt give a greasy look to the hair, or a wet look, which is great cause I hate that. It will also last me ages as you need a tiny bit to work with!

Id highly recommend anyone with short hair to try this.

I really hope you like this post, and I'll be back soon!

Till then <3 xx
