First Impression: Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan

Hey everyone, welcome back!

Going to do a slightly different post today. This is my first impression of the Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan.

I will admit I'm not a big fake tan person but when the weather is good and I get the chance to wear shorts and dresses etc I like to have a little colour as I am pure white!๐Ÿ˜‚

I had heard so much about this tan so thought I'd give it a go!

First thing I noticed was the packaging is really eye catching (well for me anyway, as I love pink!!)

Then the smell caught me, it's slightly fruity!! It was the normal overpowering tan scent which was nice!

The mousse was slightly tinted so as you apply you can see where you're placing it. I used the mit that goes with it, it's really soft and the product doesn't soak throught! Which has happened me with other mits and its so annoying!!

Once I had applied it I let it sit for a few minutes to let it dry in, and then I waited!

They say for the desired shade leave on for:

1 hour= Light Glow

2 hour= Medium Glow

3 hour= Dark Glow

I'm so pale I felt after an hour I'd still have no colour so I left it for 2! I got a nice glow. I'd say I could get away with leaving it on for 3 hours to get a medium colour on my legs! I don't tan very easy!

Overall I like the product, I'll continue to use it when I need a little colour!!

Hope you enjoyed this little post!

Back soon xox

What I'm using on my hair after "Shave or Dye"

Hey everyone๐Ÿ˜Š Hope your all enjoying the lovely weather, unfortunately I havnt seen much of it๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ but I got out in the evenings for a walk/run!!

I'm back today with a post following my Shave or Dye post on the haircare products I'm now using to get my hair back healthy and strong.

So as I said in my previous post, my hair is quiet dry from all the bleaching, so now I'm treating it to death with all Alfaparf products.

In the salon I'm in we stock all Alfaparf, and honestly there products are top quality. At the moment I'm using these products.

Alfaparf Reconstruction Shampoo, mask, anti-breakage daily fluid and then Cristalli Liquid serum. The shampoo, mask and fluid are all design to reconstruct damage/broken hair. There are 2 vital ingredients in these, Bamboo marrow -  gives strength and elasticity to the hair, and Cortex repair - repairs the hair deep in the shalt. These also have colour protecting properties and give fab shine to the hair!  Also the smell is like Bamboo and it's amazing ๐Ÿ’– The Cristalli Liquids I use when my hair is dry to finish it of. This gives the hair a gorgeous gloss and shine and also strengthens the hair, as there are Linseed oils and vitamin e's!

Then to keep my colour vibrant I'm using Alfaparf Jeans Colour in Magenta. This is like a colour bomb. I put it on every couple of days for 10/20 minutes and rinse. It's like a conditioner, so there's no need to condition after using it.

I've only been using these products for a week and already I notice a huge difference in my hair. Once I get it in good condition I'll start using moisture products on it, as you wouldn't recommend continuous use of reconstruction-just till needed!

Hope you like this little post.

I'll be back soon xox

My Shave or Dye Experience

Hey everyone welcome back.

I wanted to do a post on something I did that was really important to me, Shave or Dye for the Irish Cancer Society. That dreaded word that we're hearing more and more, "cancer". So many people are affected by it, and I think it's so important to appreciate your good health and do all you can to help those who need it.

Personally I have a few family members affected by cancer and have lost family friends, so it is quiet close to my heart. I've been wanting to do Shave or Dye for the past year, and this year I finally took the plunge to do the dye(I'm basically shaved on the back and sides anyway!!)

It was always going to be a big job because I have a lot of colour in my hair, and I knew I needed to lift all of it out, and get a clean base to get a clean colour. I havnt coloured my hair since January so I had a good regrowth. I used Head and Shoulders for a good month as it strips the colour out of your hair(good tip of you've been using it and wonder why your colour is fading). This definitely shifted a lot of the heavy colour out of my hair. I then treated my hair continuously till I was getting it done.

Being a hairdresser helped as I knew myself what needed to be done and how hard it was going to be. I needed to get my hair to as clean a blonde to get the desired colour. This took 2 goes of bleaching(which can be damaging on the hair, but all I kept thinking of is the people that have lost their hair through cancer, so I got over it).

Once that was done I treated my hair overnight with a Reconstruction treatment. The following day was colour time!! I was super excited! I decided on purple as my colour! I went for a slightly darker shade of purple on the shorter hair, and really vibrant on the lengths. I do have to maintain it with colour bombs as it will wash up, and I need get it back in good condition again so I will be treating it(I'll do a post on these products soon).

I have to say the girl that I work with that done it, done a great job, I'm absolutely delighted with it. It's really in your face ( and when I'm in public I feel everyone's looking at me!!), but that'll just take a bit of getting used to.

I'm so happy I done Shave or Dye, it's a great cause and please don't forget to donate, every little helps. You can text "SHAVE" to 50300 to donate €2!

Here's a few pics of my Shave or Dye journey! Hope you enjoyed this and I'll be back again soon xox

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Hey everyone, welcome back☺️

Hope your all keeping well. Really loving blogging lately, and I've a few post in mind to do for you guys so keep an eye!๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜‚

Today I said I'd do a review on the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I've seen loads of reviews on it so when I spotted it the other day I said I'd try it out. It was roughly €6/€7, it wasn't overly expensive which was great! But after a few uses I don't think I'd care if it was pricy, I'd still get it, I love it.

I do try to give my face a good wash every night, but some nights I just feel lazy and this is where this comes in handy. It just devolves your makeup off your face, leaving it spotless. It removes all eye makeup as well, so no need for eye make up remover!! Also I found my skin felt really fresh and hydrated, I still use moisturiser, but I didn't feel I needed it.

I will constantly be repurchasing this product! I'd highly recommend it if you'd like to try a different way of cleansing or even just to use as a toner.

Really hope you enjoy this little post๐Ÿ˜Š

Till next time xo
