My Goals For 2016

Hey everyone! Long time no chat. I'm back today with a 2016 goals post.

I decided to change my blog name and redesigned it as part of my new year new start thing I'm trying out!! I have to say I'm really happy with it and feel it's very me!

I'm setting myself a few tough goals this year to try and push myself.

1. Lose weight.
This is a big one for me. I've been struggling with my weight the last few months, and I recently rejoined slimming world and I've lost half a stone so far! Now id say I've put it back on over the Christmas, but I've a holiday booked for the end of February and that's my aim. I want to be down a stone by then and I'll be delighted. And then I just have to maintain for the year!

2. Get Fit
This is one I'll struggle with as I work indoors all day that when I come home I'm wrecked from the heat of work and standing all day that I just pan out on the couch for the evening!! So I'm going to try and push myself and become more active and increase my fitness level. It's important for my health and for my mind aswell as its not good to be stuck indoors all the time. Even if it's a half hour walk it's better than nothing!!

3. Complete BBG-at least once!!
I attempted BBG(bikini body guide by Kayla itsines) already! I did the 4 weeks pre-training, and weeks 1-5 of the real deal and I was seeing and feeling the difference, but like I said on the last goal, it's the tiredness off work that was killing me! But I'm determined to complete it! So I'm going to get a routine going of the workouts and walks on inbetween days and trying get my energy and fitness levels up!

4. Move out
This I've wanted for the past 2 years! Both myself and my boyfriend feel we're at that stage in ours life so hopefully this year well be financially able to get a place together.

5. Do A Make-Up Course
Been looking into doing some sort of a part time or evening make-up course for the past few months. I know someone that done the Inglot make-up course and they highly recommended it, so I'm going to look into doing one once I'm back from my holidays:)

Hopefully I'll be able to say at the end of the year that I completed all of these goals!!

Hope you enjoyed this little post. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a happy new year!

Till next time xx

New Ps Love Brush Range

Hey everyone, welcome back.

It's been a while, but I had nothing exciting to blog about and I didn't want to force a post.

Today I'm going to let you know about the new Ps Love makeup brushes I got in Penneys the other day.

I was away and typical forgot my brushes, so I went into my nearest Penneys and saw these. They all range from €1.50-€2.50, so I said for that price they will do for the few days!!

Little did I know I'd fall in love! I bought the Kabuki brush, powder/blush brush, contour brush, foundation/concealer brush and the smokey eyeshadow brush. So far I've used them all except the Kabuki, and I must say they are amazing. The hairs on the brushes are really soft and easy to blend products onto the skin.

The contour brush is the perfect shape to really sculpt out your cheekbones, and with the soft hairs it makes the product so easy to apply.

The smoky eyeshadow brush is by far my favourite. It is the perfect shape to work the shadows into the crease and it also has a small angled brush to smudge the shadow under the lash line.

Overall I'd highly recommend these brushes. And for this price, you can't go wrong! I will admit I went back for a second eyeshadow brush!!

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this post, I'll be back soon.

Till then xox

Johnstown House Hotel & Spa

Hi everyone! I'm back with a little review on Johnstown House Hotel & Spa in Enfield Co.Meath. I went here last week with my mam and sisters for a spa day and night away for my mams birthday!

I must say its a fabulous hotel. Very luxurious! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We arrived early so we had some tea and scones in the lobby before check in, which was lovely. Proper homemade scones is just what I love!! We then headed to the Spa and checked in. The Spa is absolutely amazing!! So relaxing fr the minute you walk in. We all got changed and headed into a room that had the sauna, steam room and it had this room we loved(can't remember the name!!!), but it was a lovely warm room. Just cosy not sweaty. We used this as our meet up room as it was so relaxing.

We all headed for our treatments, I had a full body deep tissue massage. I had never had one before, so I was really looking forward to it. I must say I think I'd run for another! I suffer terrible with my back from work and I'm always in need of a good rub out! If you haven't tried this Id highly recommend.

After our treatments we met in a relaxation room and went and got changed and checked into the hotel. We headed to the rooms to freshen up and then straight for dinner.

The restaurant was fab! Food was really good and worth every penny!!

The rooms were a little old fashioned, but for what we wanted, they done the job!!

On the Monday we headed for a quick breakfast and me and mam had more treatments! My sister opted for relaxation rooms instead for some extra zzzz!!!! I got a facial that was on offer for €50, and it was incredible. They use Elemis products, which are lovely anyway. I felt so relaxed and refreshed! I had a really nice lady looking after me and I must say she was excellent.

Again before we left I spent more time in the various relaxation areas, to get the most out of our visit!!

I will run back to the Spa here, all the girls were so helpful and excellent. All hotel staff were also brilliant and the hotel was
lovely. I highly recommend you try it!

Here's a few snaps of the hotel and Spa.

I really hope you enjoyed this post.

Till next time:) xox

Top 3 Eyeshadow Palettes

Hey guys welcome back!

Hope you all are keeping well and enjoying my posts! I'm really enjoying writing them and thinking of new ideas😊

Today I'm doing My Top 3 Eyeshadow Palettes! For me this was an easy one as I grab for the same ones all the time!

Up first is:
The Balm Nude'Tude
This is a great palette for a neutral/smokey look. There are a good variety of colour. The pigment payoff is amazing. I'd be lost without this!

Up next:
MUA Heaven & Earth Palette
This little palette is my best friend! If I'm going anywhere this is the one I will bring as it fits into my make-up bag perfectly. This has the most gorgeous neutral shades, some matte and some shimmer. I really would recommend this as its only €5/€6, you really can't go wrong!!

And the last palette is:
Urban Decay Naked 3
I love the pink/gold shades in this palette. This is so perfect for a soft pink look, but with a few deeper shades to smoke it out. The quality is excellent and so worth every penny!

I hope you liked this little post! I'll be back soon with another post!
